So your eye color can't really change with your mood then?

I've been looking on here, and it appears that most people believe that your eye color cannot change with mood...but I have to ask...can't they even slightly? (like from a blue to grey)


But I hear all over the place that your eye color can look like it's changed depending on lighting, or what you wear. So when that happens what color do your eyes ';change'; too?So your eye color can't really change with your mood then?
Well, in poor lighting my eyes look dark brown.


In really really good lighting they look grey/green with a little honey-gold colour.


In normal lighting they look hazel, sometimes a very light brown w/ a touch of a greeny greyey colour.


And when I cry they look green.





My friend has these sorta really pretty yellow-ish eyes. It's cuz she's from England though, and it's like a rare colour over there.


It changes to green if she wears certain colours, same with changing to blue, ect. It's kinda freaky, but sooo pretty [:

Yes, certain things can affect eye color, lighting, if you've been crying, I'm not sure about mood though. My eyes are dark green, but when the light is shining in the corner of my eye they look yellow-green with a tint of blue.





People who have Dissociative Identity Disorder (multiple personalities) sometimes have personalities with different eye colors.
I doubt they change by your mood, but they do brighten and slightly change in the light. Like when you're outside, they can look a completely different color in the sun. Just the other day was at church and I was wearing a light blue blouse and ppl were saying my eyes were the color of it but they are completely green...hm it's a mystery to me lol
yes it can, I've seen it happen in front of me. My bf's eyes are hazel brown/green.. they change depending on what, not sure, but the changes weren't so stark. But one time he was soooo mad at me, I was looking at his eyes and in about a second his hazel green babies (at that time it was more green) just turned all brown. It was like that for a while until he calmed down.
yeah they checked this on Myth Busters once (yes alright, i know their science is sometimes a little dodgy). It cant change with your mood, although lighting would affect it and im pretty sure they can change colour over time.
My eyes change all the time.


Gray when I am sad or bored, green when I am mad, and bright blue when I cry, and light blue when I am normal mood, and gray-blue when I am tired.
my eyes might change to light brown due to light or what I'm wearing but most of the time my eyes are dark brown. they can get this red tint i them when i angry but that's about it.

oh yeah my eyes change all the time like wen im happy they turn orangey and wen im sad they turn blue. (how original was the blue thing lol)
