Can puppies eye color change? from blue to green?!?

My chihuahua mix used to have blue eyes, and now he got green eyes all the sudden.. Is that weird or normal. Just wondering.

Completely possible and very common when it comes to puppies. I know blues eyes are cute when it comes to the overall experience and that it is a shame when they suddenly change to emerald that next day, but you know what... blue eyes are a MAJOR fault when it comes to the Chihuahua breed.

So in fact, you should be quite proud knowing you bought from a reputable breed who knew what they were doing. All in all, he is a handsome little boy.Can puppies eye color change? from blue to green?!?
Most babies are born with blue/grayish colored eyes, as they mature the eyes will change. Both my kittens had green eyes when I got them and then the tabby's eyes changed to more of a yellow/golden color as he got older while his sister's eyes got more vibrant green.
All puppies are born with blue eyes. They normally start to change to their genetically inherited color at appx 12 weeks of age.
Yes, most puppies' eyes start off blue and then change, just like human babies.

Very cute puppy, by the way.
yeah they can,

when my dog had puppies there eyes were blue at first and changed to grey pretty fast.

by the way your puppy is adorable!

i want him! lol
We had a kitten before that's eyes changed when she got older.
Normal, its common just as in human babies
puppies can be born with blue/grey eyes and they change. VERY CUTE!
