Is changing hair and eye color ok? or fake?

I naturally have very thick, wavy/curly black hair, dark brown eyes and olive skin.(my mom, uncle and i are the only ones in the family not blonde!).i always wanted to try out being blonde, but of course i think it would look odd with such dark eyes and wanted to go with green contacts to remedy that. but there are three issues : 1.)will blonde be at all compatible with my darker,olive skin tone and dark eyebrows?


and 2.) i would hate to have some guy (or anyone) say ';what pretty eyes/hair you have'; and have to explain to them that its not my natural type...


3.)i am also heading to college, and in the picture i submitted to the viewbook, i have dark hair, ect. - so I won't look anything like it!

Generally blonde doesn't look right if it's lighter than your skin tone, I've noticed. So you can try a temp dye and see if you like it. Also blonde with dark eyes is pretty nice anyways, gives an exotic sort of impression. But black and dark brown suit olive complexions better for hair colours, because they look natural. Did you want green eyes to look natural with the blonde hair or did you just want them for the sake of being green? My mom's an eye doctor, she told me that colour contacts always look really fake (I wanted to get some green ones for my dark brown eyes too - small world, right?) but I've never tried them so I'm not entirely sure - also contacts can do some bad stuff to your eyes if you wear them unnecessarily.Is changing hair and eye color ok? or fake?
i think the hair is okay, most ppl get SOME kind of color change these days anyway (highlights, root touch up, etc)


But maybe a darker blonde or lighter/brown since you said you had really dark eyebrows


I dont think you should get color contacts, thats a little too far and they are really fake looking..you dont want to change everything God gave you(:


i say go for it, for the hair. just not the contacts!

I think it would look strange. your black hair is going to end up white if you bleach it. Think about it. its going from the black stage then grey, since its black, then its going to be white unless you want grey hair. And green contact look fake.
if you have olive skin tone, the darker the hair.. the better.


blonde looks unbelievable fake on darker complexions.





and green eyes would look a little too fake too, maybe try hazel or honey brown. but i like regular brown eyes too.
It will be very difficult to play it off!You should try honey colored contacts...As far as the hair goes if you can afford blonde then why not!
