Help on eye color for a character?

Okay, here's a quick little bit on the character I need an eye color for:

His name is Delton. He is quite a rambler and he could sit and talk for hours. Very animated guy, and doesn't care what others think. Spaces out quite a bit. His hair looks like the guys in this picture does: http://www.teenvogue.com/images/blog/bea鈥?/a>

(Right) Except for it is a dirty blonde color.

Any ideas?Help on eye color for a character?
Green with a hint of gray. Kind of an indescribable feeling to it.

Interesting + a little mysterious, like you don't know what to make of it.

okayokay, I changed my mind, Light bright blue with a light yellow/amber ring near the center. Laid back and still uniqueHelp on eye color for a character?
green definitely! it just fits!
totally hazel

or perhaps grey
Blue would be cute
How about a light shade of green?
Green =D I dunno, I just like green eyes...
Why does it matter? Is it going to be important? Is the color going to be significant to your story? Is it a key point like with Harry Potter having his mother's green eyes?

Just choose the eye color you have or your favorite eye color.

ETA: How does eye color reflect a person's personality? That makes no sense. If someone is born with blue eyes, what's their personality like? o.o; Preppy? Cute?

Stereotyping, much? If you try to make everything seem perfect and connect everything in a character, it's not going to seem realistic.

ETA: Okay, but just because the character believes that doesn't make it true. And it's not. Why not have a character who has like, brown eyes or whatever, be actually mean when the main character thinks brown eyes means sweet? Seems a lot more realistic and less perfect, instead of everything going the same way.

A person with brown eyes can be as cold and mean as a person with gray eyes. They don't choose what color eyes they are born with, therefore their personalities don't necessarily match that color.

And it all depends on interpretation. Gray eyes to some could be distant, but to others could be a really pretty color.

ETA: Well, it's not like everyone has to have different eye colors in a novel. You can have two of the same colors, there aren't many to choose from to begin with, unless you make your own.

As for the harder to read thing; that's not eye color, hun. ^^ That has nothing to do with the color of the person's eyes.

ETA: No, no, no. You're confused. You can't read someone's eyes by the COLOR. It's not the color that you see emotions in, it's the eyes themselves. I'm talking about the color. You CAN see emotions in eyes, but the eye color has nothing to do with it. I'm saying that people may associate gray eyes with being cold and unwelcome, but that's not necessarily true. Someone with gray eyes _could_ be cold and unwelcome but it has nothing to do with the color. It's just their personality.
