How come everytime i wear light colored eye shadow i look weird?

i'm used to wearing dark colors (i'm tan so i can get away with it) but i'm trying to look more natural, but my eyes don't stand out or look bigger with lighter colored eyeshadow. my eyebrows also look to far up from my eyes when i wear not with the dark shadow though..anyone else feel like this? what do i do?How come everytime i wear light colored eye shadow i look weird?
well your tan so if you use light colors it looks wierd idk it just does

light colored eyeshadow, usually highlights the eyes and brightens up the area..you're used to dark colors, which don't give off this effect. it just takes time to get used to it..try a lavender, it might be a good starting off color :)
go to a beauty salon and ask for some advices , when ever i want to put nail polish my nails look weird soo.....i feel half the pain
because your tanned light colours arnt your natural colour, so it clashes
