HAPPY POTTER FANS!! (harry's eye color) BOOK 7?

i dont know if any one is going to be able to help since there seems to be sooo many Harry Potter haters out there but here goes....


does anyone know why J.K. Rowling said that Harry's eye resembles wiht his mother was going to be an important part of hte resolution of the series? and if it did play some part in it can you please point it out b/c i did read the last book but Potter's eyes didnt seem of importance to me...what od you think and if you know anything about this can you please answer me.... i really need to know, have been wondering for sometime so please helpHAPPY POTTER FANS!! Throughout all Harry’s years at Hogwarts, he was repeatedly told he has him mother’s eyes. In the end of the book, we learn that during those years Snape had been protecting Harry the entire time, despite his hatred for Harry’s father. This is because Snape was deeply in love with Lilly, Harry’s mother, who also shared his bright green eyes. When Snape is about to die, and his memories are pouring from him, his last words to Harry are “look at me” and he gets one last look into Lilly Potter’s eyes ( Harry’s eyes) before he dies.


It is significant, because we learn that it was Snape’s love for Lilly that essentially kept Harry alive. Without that, Snape could have easily had Harry killed. However, every time he looked at Harry he saw Lilly, and he gave his life to protect Harry out of his love for her.

Everyone always told him he had Lilly's eyes and Snape was in love with her, so it was painful for him to look in his eyes. He also looked into his eyes before he died because it was like remembering Lilly and her eyes. Then he gave Harry the memories so he would know that Snape loved hers.
Everyone liked Lily and Snape loved her to the end Which is why he asked Harry to look at him when she died.





Slughorn also liked Lily and remembered her too when he saw Harry which is why Harry was able to get the true memory about horcruxes from him.
Snape looks into Harry's eyes and remembers Lily.
snape loved lily, and harry has his mothers eyes. Snape looks into harry's eyes one last time before he dies.
